An extremely proud moment as a video producer and storyteller just arrived! I’ll keep it short since I’m mobile right now. I recieved news that I had received several Wins and acknowledgments at the Kansas Association of Broadcastors for works I have done for TV and News.

Annette Lawless whom I collaborated with on the 65 Minutes documentary came down and said check your messages. KAKE recieved many acknowledgments for the work we create but I was most proud that Jessica Crawford who is now an anchor in Denver, and I won 1st Place for our Mental Health PSA. She is fun to work with and a very smart naturally creative person. I presented her the idea and she punched it up to be better and then I went and put some sizzle on it and we were rewarded for that. Annette who also won 1st Place for her franchise piece Missing in Kansas shared in two victories with 65 Minutes: A Greensburg Story as 2nd Place and Honorable Mention.

Altogether walking away with 8 mentions in commercial and News isn’t too bad I’d say. Extremely blessed and lucky to have the support and trust from the people I collaborate with and the Account Executives who help the shop float. Hopefully this is just the beginning.
